About the Founder

I founded Priority Financial Planning to help busy families and working professionals confidently navigate their finances. At the heart of the firm is a simple goal: to prioritize clients and their families above all else.

My Story
I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and went on to play football at the University of Central Missouri. After finishing my playing career, my passion for helping people and my love for strategy led me into coaching. Over the years, I served in various roles at five different colleges and universities.

When my wife and I welcomed two children, I knew it was time for a change. I transitioned into financial services with a local office, where I earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC®) designation and completed the Fundamentals of Alternative Investments certificate through CAIA.

A New Adventure

A New Adventure

While I enjoyed that work, I felt God leading me in a different direction. Starting my own firm wasn’t my plan at first—I was reluctant and, frankly, afraid. But the pieces fell into place in ways that were too clear to ignore.

My wife had encouraged me for months, but ultimately, it was watching my daughters run and play that gave me the courage to take the leap. If I wanted them to pursue their callings without fear, I needed to model that same obedience in my own life.

Priority Financial Planning

I founded Priority Financial Planning to help busy families and working professionals confidently navigate their finances. At the heart of the firm is a simple goal: to prioritize clients and their families above all else.

My dream is to build Priority Financial Planning into a practice where the goal of success isn’t defined by profitability alone, but by the number of people we are able to help. I want every client to feel they have an experienced partner walking with them through life’s highs and lows—bringing clarity and confidence to each stage of their journey.
